Setenil de las Bodegas, a Cádiz municipality known for having houses dug into a mountain, making their roofs out of the rocks themselves. This particularity will be one of the things that will attract your attention the most. You will have the feeling of being inside a mountain!
We will walk through the historic center of this small town in the Cádiz mountains, descending along Calle de los Reyes Católicos to reach the Castle area, in the upper part of the urban area. Next to the Castle we will find the Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation, of medieval origin. We visit the old Alcazaba: the Main Church, the Arab Wall, the Torreón and a walk under the rocks.
Finally, we will face Calle Herrería until we begin to see the rocks that appear on the roofs of the houses. We will arrive at Calle Cuevas a la Sombra and Calle Cuevas del Sol, one of the most impressive in Setenil.
