Things to do Alicante's Secret Society: Self-Guided Exploration Game

This is a self-guided adventure crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played outdoors, on the mysterious streets of Alicante. You will explore 16 iconic locations while following a thriller story filled with secrets and forgotten historical facts. At each location, you'll be solving a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on various architectural elements, monuments or facades. The game is mainly focused around the Barri Vell - Santa Creu area and includes a bunch of ancient riddles, cryptic messages and hidden clues about the The Secret Society of The Light. Starting from the Oracle, the stops are spaced an average of around 100m apart, with each location taking around 5 min to complete. The route also passes through Casa Carbonell, MACA Museum, and Cocatedral de Sant Nicolau. At every stop, the app unlocks a new chapter and guides people to the next location. DISCLAIMER: You will explore by yourself using the Questo app on your phone. No physical guide or strangers will be involved. The full route covers approximately 1.6 km and takes around 1.5h to complete. You can play it any day, at any time, in English or Spanish with audio and narration for extra immersion.
