I originally had a tour planned with Go Local, but they cancelled without even informing me! I quickly searched for a replacement tour and found this one and how fortunate that I did. Unfortunately the other group who were supposed to join did not turn up, so I technically had a private tour with Iker. His English is great and he gave a very good overview of the history of San Sebastian (at least as much as 2 hours can afford!). Despite the rain and strong winds, he stay professional and conducted a fantastic tour. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great and very entertaining tour of the city with our guide Oscar. He knew a lot about the city and its history, was able to answer questions spontaneously and was cheerful and friendly. He spoke very good English and was always considerate of the participants. The group was fortunately small (8 people).

I'm sure our guide had a lot of knowledge about San Sebastian and its history. But unfortunately he spoke so fast and with such a strong accent that we didn't understand much of what he said. We asked him to speak slower, but he did not respond to that. So we left the tour after about 10 minutes.

Our tour guide was amazing. Ibon just made the history interesting and alive. At the right moments Ibon knew how to make a a joke or be serious again. He didn't act like a tour guide more than a friend who showed you his town. I would recommend to everyone to join one tour. Now I see San Sebastian in a different (better) way.

“Fun tour”
Julan guided us through San sebastián, or Donosti, as it’s called in the basque language. He’s very proud of his culture and that shows during the tour. He offered great insight in the gastronomic societies, the sports and the culture in general.
The history part was a bit messy though, it consisted of loosely related facts and was therefore a bit tricky to follow.
All in all it was definitely worthy of the time (and the tip!)

“Great Tour”
Araia was friendly, knowledgeable, open with a great sense of humor and in depth knowledge of the area, the history, the language and the culture. I highly recommend this tour in beautiful and historic San Sebastián!!!!

“Great tour through beautiful San Sebastian”
The tour with Igor was great fun.
He provided us with lots of interesting facts, brought us to some very nices spots and was very entertaining!
A basque song, sung by him in the park was one for example.

“Informative and fun”
We enjoyed our tour of the history of San Sebastián with Daniel. He was very enthousiastic and a pleasant and fun person. Lacing the tour with a song, tiny quizzes and 'guess the lie' was a fun. The tips we received on paper were also helpful. The only comment is that, while his English is great, Daniel talks a little too fast given his fairly heavy Spanish accent. Combined with his stories that may have been a bit too long sometimes, he did seem to lose the attention of the crowd at times.
