Things to do Sitges: History, Art and Landscape Free Tour

Discover Sitges on a tour that combines history, art and dreamy landscapes. We depart from the seafront, next to the Hotel Calipolis, to enter the Passeig de la Ribera, where the old fishermen's sands gave way to an elegant promenade. We will visit the monument to Facundo Bacardí, an illustrious son who took the name of Sitges to Cuba, and the monument to Santiago Rusiñol and Ramón Casas, key figures of Catalan modernism. We will walk up historic streets such as Carrer Nou and Calle Mayor to the Town Hall Square, the administrative heart of the medieval town. We will pass by the 5th Avenue, an example of the balance between tradition and modernity, and then go down Fonollar Street, flanked by museums and overlooking the viewpoint of the beach of San Sebastià, the most famous fishermen's beach. We will continue along La Vall and Calle de la Davallada, old roads connecting with the sea, to finish ascending along Calle Mayor to Plaza del Cap de la Vila, the social and cultural center of Sitges. A walk full of history, art and Mediterranean charm.
