Santa Cruz Ghost Free Tour

The district of Santa Cruz is one of most important enclaves in Seville, known as the old Jewish quarter in the city. Our Santa Cruz Ghost Free Tour brings together the history of the Jewish community, Seville and the legends and mysteries that are included in the multiple literary works recreated in the streets and squares.

Our guided visit will lead you through the district of Santa Cruz though its alleyways, corners, squares and most important places in the Jewish quarter.  Accompanied by our English speaking guide we will next stroll through Seville´s Jewish quarter where we will recreate the life and the past of the Jewish community in our city, its presence in Seville and especially its link with other cultures and religions: Santa Cruz, Muslim, Jewish and Christian. 

On our Santa Cruz Ghost Free Tour we will recreate legends regarding its streets, people and the different literary works, theatre, novels and operas that have been recreated in its streets throughout more than 10 centuries of history. We will talk about novels and opera with Don Juan Tenorio and with the Barber of Seville.

Also mandatory if you wish to discover Seville´s Jewish quarter is the fable of Susona, popularly known as Fermosa Fembra. As for the name that the Calle de las Cruces has, we´ll discover that as we walk through the narrowest road in all of Seville.
