Enjoy a tour of the natural environment of the Sierra de Aracena, with access to the Gruta de las Maravillas, and visit the famous mines of Rio Tinto. A professional guide and round-trip transportation from Seville are included. Don't miss it!
Our first stop will be in Aracena, a town located north of the Huelva province. We will walk through its beautiful streets until we reach the entrance of the Gruta de las Maravillas (Cave of Wonders). A natural cave that will not leave you indifferent and where geological formations such as stalactites and stalagmites stand out.
We will continue our panoramic tour through the Dehesa de Sierra Morena, around the Iberian pig, where there is a great gastronomic tradition of Iberian ham. We will enjoy the landscape that gives us this Biosphere Reserve making several stops at emblematic places such as the Medieval Castle of Aracena, the Mosque of Almonaster la Real or the Peña de Arias Montano.
We will have lunch at noon in one of these localities to enjoy the typical gastronomy and its star dish: Iberian Ham.
During the excursion, we will also visit the town of Riotknown for its mines and the characteristic reddish color of the water of the Rio Tinto River. An environment that seems to be taken from another planet, as if it were Mars, where NASA studies its extreme conditions, and that will give us the opportunity to take some incredible pictures of an unforgettable trip.
