Disclaimer: this is not a standard guided tour. No guide will be waiting for the visitor. The activity can be done using only an app, at any time of the day, ignoring start times. Adventure Hunt is a new way to explore and enjoy Santa Cruz. It is a cross between a walking tour, an escape room, and a scavenger hunt. Each puzzle uses items in plain sight. They might be murals, buildings, landmarks, statues, play areas, or information boards. The questions are designed to make you think and pay attention, making for a fun group activity. This Adventure Hunt takes place in the heart of Santa Cruz. We start near the cruise terminal and visit many of the popular and interesting locations in Santa Cruz, including Plaza Espana, Plaza Candalaria, the church of La Senora Conception, La Senora market, Parque del Principe and Plaza San Francisco. The route is almost a loop, returning you to around 150m from the start location. The route covers roughly 2.5 km and consists of 20+ clues. It includes some steps, but there are options to avoid them. You should allow 1 to 2 hours to complete the hunt, but we recommend taking your time. We suggest groups of 2 to 4 participants.
