Free Tour of the Royal Palace of La Granja in a walk full of nature, art, fountains and legends, enjoying a unique setting that combines history and beauty in the heart of Europe.

We will find ourselves in the Plaza de España, in front of the Royal Collegiate Church of the Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso, where Philip V and Isabella of Farnese left their legacy. Next to the Patio de la Herradura we will find huge baroque gardens, inspired by Versailles but adapted to the environment of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The first stop is the Fountain of the Jungle, with the myth of Vertumnus and Pomona, followed by the fountains of Neptune and Amphitrite, allegories of royal power. Then we will visit the Fountain of the Winds, the twins of the Dragons and the Square of the Eight Streets, geometric center of the complex. Later, the Fountain of the Frogs evokes the punishment of Latona, before culminating in the great ensembles of the Baths of Diana and Fame, symbol of Philip V's triumph.
During this tour we will reveal how art, mythology and nature are integrated in the gardens of La Granja, considered one of the most beautiful baroque jewels in Europe.
