Take a walk with me in this singular place: Paiporta. Paiporta is a picturesque village located near Valencia City. It’s a quiet place, perfect for a nice walk and to spend a good morning or evening. We will learn the story of this village, and we can enjoy a traditional orxata while we take in everything it has to offer. Additionally, you may be aware that this village was one of the most severely affected by the floods on October 29th (DANA, as it is known). It’s a harrowing story I had to live through (and one I don’t want anyone else to experience). Still, it’s also a story of human kindness, a story of unity, and a reminder that, in the moment of truth, it’s people who have the power to change everything.
