Starting from the Plaza de Anaya, in the surroundings of the Cathedral, we will discover the history of Salamanca while we walk and enjoy its streets and monuments. What does Salamanca mean? How important was this city on the Vía de la Plata? Do you know the frog from the university? Let us guide you and make you enjoy a visit where history, data, and dates are not at odds with fun. In addition, you participate in the tour. PLEASE NOTE: Bookings for over 6 attendants must be communicated to us via e-mail, Freetour.com chat, or Whatsapp. They're going to be accepted, but we need to know it. Maximum number of attendants permitted in our groups: 30 people. For groups with 15 or more attendants, we'll use a radioguide system for your and our own comfort, making it easier to hear the guide correctly. It's completely free, but we ask you to be careful and use the devices correctly: they are quite expensive!!

“Fabulous tour with best guide Diego”
There were just 7 of us on this tour. Diego was informative and funny and tailored the content to our interests and responses. He was engaging and clearly interested in the topic of Salamanca and shared his knowledge in a most entertaining way. Diego’s English was great and he invited and answered questions with a lot of patience! He ensured we were all comfortable ithbthe amount of walking and standing and if there was too much sun, shade, wind, etc.
overall a fantastic tour that I would absolutely recommend for anyone visiting this gorgeous town.

We had a great time on this walking tour and learned a lot about Salamanca. Diego was a very enthusiastic storyteller, and we enjoyed how interactive the tour was. Even though we didn't walk far, we got a sense of how much history is in this city. He gave us suggestions of what to do the rest of the afternoon, which was super useful. He even gave us suggestions about where to get some vegan food, since it's not easy to come by here. All in all, a fun experience and we would recommend :)

We had been in Salamanca for a couple of days prior to the tour, however Diego was able to point out things that we had not located, like the “backdoor” to the bell tower which, for EUR4.00 gives also views of the two Cathedrals from way up in the roof. Worth it!

“Such a good tour!”
The guide was equals part funny and knowledgable, and it was a wonderful experience to walk around Salamanca getting to know all the little details. We would have missed so much if it wasn't for the tour!! And if someone's worried about the language, i might be Spanish but my partner is American and he had no trouble following everything. We absolutely recommend it :)

“Curiosidades de la ciudad”
Diego hace muy bien el free tour aunque no recorres muchísimos espacios, todos los que se ven no solo se ven sino que aprendes un montón de cosas de la ciudad, lo cual nos encanta

“Interesante”
Diego fue nuestro guía. Nos enseñó lo más emblemático de Salamanca. Nos explicaba cada lugar y siempre nos dejaba con el extra para visitar más tarde para que pudiésemos pasar el día con un objetivo (nos explicó los dos cielos de Salamanca pero no los vimos con él con la intención de que luego lo pudiésemos ver en solitario). Se hizo ameno y 100% recomendado.

Estupendo el guía. Nos dio muchos datos interesantes sobre los monumentos y sobre la historia de la ciudad, todo ello con buen humor. Se hizo corto aunque fueron casi dos horas.
