Discover the secrets of Philip II’s court through the eyes of Anne of Austria. First, we’ll see the monastery’s main façade, and Doña Ana will explain why her husband decided to build this magnificent structure. She’ll also reveal why he chose to build the monastery in this beautiful spot in the Sierra de Guadarrama, right at the foot of Mount Abantos. Next, Anne of Austria will guide us to the monastery’s south facade, where we’ll take in the beautiful views of the La Herrería forest. We’ll also learn about the story of the “golden brick”… It’s sure to surprise you!
