Mercado Grande—I’ll be at the statue of Saint Teresa, next to the city wall, right by the Puerta del Alcázar gate that leads into the wall. You’ll be able to spot me because I’ll be holding a scarf on an orange selfie stick!
1 Plaza de Santa Teresa de Jesús.
Start and end of the tour; from here we’ll be able to see the Puerta del Alcázar and the medieval city wall of Ávila.
2 Calle de San Segundo and the Medieval City Wall.
3 Basilica of San Vicente
We’ll explore a beautiful Romanesque church and learn about the history of the martyred brothers.

The city’s town hall square—a strategic spot to learn how the city was founded.
