Things to do Comillas Free Tour: Between Sea and Modernism

Get to know the most important and less visited places with our local guides. The uniqueness of Comillas lies in the fact that besides being one of the most important modernist centers outside of Catalonia, it is also a town with a clear seafaring and fishing influence, and all this mixed with the uniqueness of its Old Town Montañés. We begin our visit at the Old Town Hall, where Alfonso XII was received in the summer of 1881. We will enjoy the Plaza de la Constitución and Corro San Pedro, and then we will go to the other work of Gaudí in Comilla: La Puerta de los Pájaros. Then we will go to the most beautiful viewpoint of Comillas: the viewpoint of Santa Lucia, from here we can see the port and the beach, an exceptional place from which to explain the history of whaling. We will continue to the Casa del Duque and from there we will visit the monument of the Marquis of Comillas, where we will develop the biography of this controversial character. Then we will go to the Cemetery of Comillas, one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the country. From here we return to the center, to finish at the Fuente de los Tres Caños and the Casa Ocejo.
