Join us and discover the impressive baroque jewel of Caudiel, Castellón. Explore this hidden treasure and marvel at the cultural richness of the small towns, don't miss this unique opportunity!
The Castilian municipality of Caudiel, in the Alto Palancia, despite being very busy for those who go to Montanejos, arriving comfortably on the C-5 commuter line from Valencia, or cycling along the Via Verde de Ojos Negros, is one of those where few stop to learn about its heritage and history. How wrong they are. And the fact is that the town has one of those jewels rarely known, as is the Camarín de la Virgen Perdido, inside the parish church, once a convent of Augustinians. The spectacular decoration, which becomes overwhelming, has been vetoed until a few years ago, and now there is the possibility of knowing it, in addition to its other charms. The visit in principle is only to the church and chapel, but if you prefer, you can extend to the rest of the village and know his hermitage of San Roque, Lavaderos, alleys and fountains, the total duration being about 2.5 hours. To do this you only have to deviate a few kilometers from the A-23 if you are coming from the Mediterranean to or from Aragon, or move a few kilometers if you are in nearby towns such as Sagunto, Segorbe, Vall de Uxó, Montanejos, Jérica, Rubielos de Mora or Mora de Rubielos. do you feel like being surprised?
