Welcome to the tour of Altea, the Jewel of the Mediterranean. We will start at the Town Hall of Altea, exploring its history and coat of arms. We will visit the Bellaguarda neighborhood with its white streets and the Plaza de la Canterería, from where we will enjoy views of the Sierra de Bernia and the Bay of Altea. We will continue through eighteenth century houses converted into hotels and climb to the Plaza del Agua and a medieval mill. Continue to the Portal Vell and the Baluarte de la Senyoria for panoramic views of the bay. In the old town, we will admire white houses and handicrafts, arriving at the Portal Nou and the Baluarte del Común. Then, we will explore the Glorieta de Francisco Martínez, the Plaza de la Iglesia with the Church Ntra Sra del Consuelo and its domes.
