We start at Palacio de la Najarra, where we connect with the region’s sugar-producing past and today’s tropical agriculture. We continue to the Parque del Majuelo, a unique place where Phoenician, Roman and Moorish history meet in one single space, built over an ancient Roman factory. Then we explore the old town, walking through narrow Andalusian streets full of charm and local life. At the Town Hall Square, we discover how the town evolved after the Christian conquest and explore the unique features of the Church of the Encarnación. We climb to the exterior of the San Miguel Castle, enjoying views and understanding its strategic importance. Next, we visit the Archaeological Museum, located inside a rare Roman cryptoporticus.
