Things to do Free Tour of Ecija

The tour will begin in front of the Roman Pond in the Plaza de España (known as El Salón). Then, we will move to the Plaza de Santa Maria, where we will contemplate the triumph dedicated to the patron saints of the city, the Virgen del Valle and San Pablo. Here, we will also see the church of Santa Maria. The route will continue through the streets of Ecija, observing its wonderful facades, such as the Casa del Gremio de la Seda. We will continue walking to the church of the Descalzos and, after learning about its history, we will continue to the square of Nuestra Señora del Valle, enjoying the views of the parish of Santa Cruz. During the tour, we will continue to see the facades of stately homes and convent churches until we reach the Plaza de San Juan, where we will find a spectacular view of the tower of the church of San Juan and its courtyard. Before ending the tour, at the point where it began (Plaza España), we will enjoy the views of the crossroads between the palace of Valdehermoso and the palace of Peñaflor, along with three of the eleven towers found in the city.
