“Aurora a brilliant guide”
We have done many 'free walking tours' across Europe, but this was one of the best from Aurora in Florence. Informative and personable throughout, she knew exactly how and when to guide a big group around in busy conditions. Also funny at times with lots of interesting facts and story lines. Well done.

“Informative and fun walk”
Our guide was absolutely perfect. Her background in art history was exactly what you need for a walk in Florence. she framed the walk around the history of the Medici, which is the only way to understand Florence.

“Can't recommend enough”
The guide was funny - he's clearly been doing this some time, and yet still kept it fresh. Lots of little bits of humour in there and content on the tablet. Handled a gigantic group really well too.
Side note - it's a very Medici-orientated tour, if you don't want to know about them, don't do this tour. (he covers other history pre-Medici family too of course)

“Elisabetta The Great. ”
Wonderful skills in organization and team leading. Hard to keep 30+ people together and on task with all the distractions of talking and leading the group. Her knowledge of the Medici family was second to none, and her delivery of information was on target and engaging. Will review our schedule and see if we can engage her with another tour. A true professional who adds some humour to her delivery.
Awesome, thanks. Don & Michelle. Winnipeg, MB. Canada

“Wonderful rainy day in Florence!”
A rainy day in Firenze turned into one of the most special experiences of our trip, grazie to Deborah! ☔✨
With charme, sorriso, humor and so much energy, she guided us through the beauties and stories of this incredible city that truly breathes arte, cultura, buon cibo e buon vino. Even under the rain, Deborah made every corner shine, showing us how Firenze lovingly preserves its memories, history and timeless beauty.
And then, as if the city wanted to thank her too, the rain finally surrendered and the most beautiful sun appeared to end our tour. ????
We finished the day absolutely enchanted, certain that Florence is a place to explore, preserve and tell the world to come visit. Muito obrigada for your warmth, hospitality and passion, Deborah — você foi maravilhosa! ❤️????????????????

“Walking tour of Florence with Alberto”
5 star + was/is Alberto in Florence. Such a pleasure, so informative and well-paced. This guy really knows his home city. Shows and tells you everything about Florence with tips on when/how to go inside the museums and churches, if you want to later; where to eat where the locals go, explains typical Florentine dishes and lovely little anecdotes about the origin of a noble of blue blood. I cannot recommend a tour with Alberto more. Fantastico!

“Outstanding”
Giacomo gave us an insightful overview and made sure we were always hooked and listening. He included genuinely funny jokes, historical anecdotes and simplified explanations while also providing extremely in depth answers when asked individually, obviously this tour was optimised for a broader audience so certain questions did come up. He felt like a proper local, when vendors and random people would greet him personally. His background enabled expert level explanations on architecture. He made sure to guide the large group through the big crowds carefully, to not lose anyone and to keep people out of the way of vehicles. He also provided free earpieces that were vital in these loud environments.
Bravissimo! Highly enjoyable. Would recommend.

“Great Tour”
Somona was a great tour guide, and the tour was very informative. The centre of Florence is very walkable, so the tour was not tiring at all and would be suitable for people who cannot walk very far (you will need to be able to stand though). The earpieces made the tour really good as you could hear every single word, no matter how busy the Piazzas were.

The tour was amazing—everything was very well organized and explained in rich detail. It also started right on time and stayed within the expected schedule, which I really appreciated. I've always found renaissance architecture and art interesting to look at, but having our guide explain the stories behind the sights gave them a life of their own. “Appropriately informative and interesting”
Our guide Aurora, delivered an interesting and at times entertaining tour, amidst the throng of people doing similar tours with other guides. I felt that she pitched her talk appropriately for a mixed audience and she also ensured that we kept in shade on a very hot day. As a hearing aid wearer I found the audio system lacking in clarity and consequently some of Aurora's chat was lost in the considerable background noise.
