A friend of mine booked this tour, because it sounded like the best deal to see the Atlas mountains if you're on a short trip to Marrakech.
A driver picked us up from our riad (a super friendly guy), and first we made a stop to the argan oil cooperative, which really kicked the morning off on a super nice note! They showed us there how they make the oil, was super educational, and you can also buy local argan oil, and then at the end they give you tea and breakfast, haha :D
After this, we drove into the Atlas mountains, where the driver left us with the private guide, Jamal. Together, we went on a REALLY nice hike: Jamal showed us waterfalls, we passed through a local berber village, saw Toubkal (from the distance, of course), hiked up and down. It was very beautiful, very peaceful, amazing hike! Easy one to make too!
Afterwards we paid a visit to a local home, and ate the most delicious home-made berber lunch. Jamal was super nice asking if anybody is vegetarian and doesn't eat meat (we did, so we had chicken). Very considerate!
Overall, it's a great escape from busy Marrakech, and very good value for money, and I do recommend it a lot! If I come back to Morocco, I'll definitely book the tour with Jamal again to make a hike to Toubkal, cuz that one takes several days.
