Things to do Dwarfs & Communist Wroclaw Tour by Walkative!

The dwarfs are connected with communistic opposition organizations. Join us and hear interesting stories about Polish history from the last 30 years. When Poland was a part of the Soviet Block, dwarfs spread in the city and changed the socialistic system. If you don't believe in creatures from fairytales, this tour might change it! You will see them all over the city! During the tour, you will have a chance to feel like a dwarf and like a giant. Before you join, just remember this: The word 'gnomes' is absolutely forbidden in Wrocław!

“Authentic, knowledgeable guide and tour”

This was a lovely tour, led by a clearly passionate and knowledgeable tour guide. It was so heart warming to see him smile when telling the stories about the Wroclaw anti-communist resistance movement happenings. The dwarf counting competition added a lot of dynamism to the tour as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Wroclaw.

“The worst tour ever”

We waited in the cold, FOR HALF AN HOUR, where we were supposed to meet and they did not show up. They had talked to us the day before to check if we were going, as a confirmation. And they didnt even show up! Worst experience ever.

“Intersting tour with Szymon”

The tour was nice, it started on time. Despite nasty weather the group was quite big. Szymon is a guide with a sense of humour. He speaks very fast so we were overloaded with information in a positive way in 2 hours.

“I found myself looking for the little guys everywhere I went”

Loved this tour. It was a fun way to learn about some of the history and I found myself looking for the little guys everywhere I went. This would also be a fantastic tour for anyone with children. Would have liked to learn which ones were the 'originals' and which ones were added for fun later. The guide, Lucas, not only introduced himself, but took the time to learn where everyone was from, which also lead to a few little stories. I highly recommend this tour.
