During World War II, the Kazimierz district and the people who lived there experienced tragic events that were an inspiration for the Schindler's List movie. Places where the greatest people among the Jewish nation were born, unique atmosphere of an important center of cultural life in Kraków, great examples of Jewish architecture, but also places of great tragedy.
