An approach so that, in a short time, you can get to know the essentials of the city, as well as its history. On our Free Tour Krakow Old Town and Jewish Quarter we will visit the Franciscan church, inside which we will find a facsimile of the holy sheet, in addition to enjoying its impressive Art Nouveau stained glass windows.
You will also get to know one of the most traditional and interesting neighborhoods: "Kazimierz". This is where the first Jewish communities that arrived in the city settled. We will analyze the reasons for these settlements and how the coexistence between Jews and Catholics was carried out. We will also visit the Corpus Christi church, a true Catholic symbol in the Jewish area.
We will review the entire history of both communities in this area, also visiting one of the 7 synagogues in the city and delve into the aspects that have made the Jewish community one of the most important in history, at the same time than one of the most controversial.
Throughout this Free Tour Krakow Old Town and Jewish Quarter we will focus on visiting the two most touristic and fundamental areas of the city: the historic center and the Jewish quarter.
