Excursion to Zakopane & Chocholow

Enjoy an approximately 13-hour excursion from Krakow to the most beautiful village in the Tatra Mountains, Zakopane. We will discover the breathtaking views and unspoiled landscape of the mountains known as “The Polish Alps.” After the journey of approximately two hours, we will arrive in Zakopane, the heart of the Tatras mountain range, located on the border with Slovakia. Once in Zakopane, we will stroll through this picturesque area on a walking tour of the historic center. We will visit the Tatra Museum, the old cemetery in Pęksowy Brzyzek, the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Krzeptowki, and the Jaszczurówka Chapel. Once the morning walk is over, enjoy delicious traditional Polish food. In the afternoon, we will go up the Gubałówka mountain by funicular. At the summit, we will admire the impressive views of the various peaks and Zakopane. On returning to Krakow, we will visit Chochołów, a beautiful village with typical 19th-century wooden houses.
