The lights and shadows behind the myth of the “Europe of the Americas”. Tango, football, literature, psychotherapy, politics, dictatorships, and resistance, the history of Argentina has all of the ingredients for a passionate drama. Nos mandou mensagem antes do passeio, se colocando à disposição para ajudar no que fosse preciso. O tour começou no horário, passamos pelos principais pontos turísticos do centro cívico e o Rodrigo contou a história da cidade e do país desde a chegada dos europeus até os dias de hoje.

El tour está bueno e interesante la arquitectura y la historia del palacio barolo! No hace un recorrido por la parte principal de la zona (no paso por el obelisco y estuvimos muy poquito tiempo y pocos comentarios en plaza de mayo y sus edificios). Hubiera preferido menos comentarios políticos e inclinaciones, hay mucha historia y datos argentinos para contar antes de la política.

He was an affable fellow and shared a wealth of knowledge about the history, culture and architecture of the city. I highly recommend this tour. “To understand Argentina”
Amazing tour, probably one of the best i've attended in format of free walking tour.
Especially recomended for architecture admirers and those who want to take deeper insight into history of Argentina and why it is and looks today as it is.
Rodrigo doesn't avoid difficult topics while talking on history, explains very substantively without using undefined slogan words or simplifications, with showing of cause and effects consequences. I knew basics of Argentina and Buenos Aires history, but it helped a lot to deepened and structurise knowledge, place it into time and space contexts and clear doubts about some commonly misunderstoodor poorly explained elsewhere concepts. And all of that with keeping emotion and argentinian point of view, but not visibly taking any of political or ideological sides.
Another highlihts are paying attention to architecture details, lots of tips about culture, food and other places to visit.
I will for sure be looking for other tours with Rodrigo in other neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires.

“Morning walking tour”
Nice walking tour with a lot of information packed into our time but easy to follow. First time in Buenos Aries it was a nice way to start the morning. It was a big group that was also easy to follow. Rodrigo also has great presence and recommendations to restaurants and cafes. During long periods of standing durning discussion, we were in the shade. Overall I give it a 5 to fill your morning/early afternoon with a great guide and good information.

Probably the best free tour I've ever done. Rodrigo was incredibly knowledgable about the history of Argentina and Buenos Aires and it was very refreshing to take a break from the official history. What we got was a very serious, detailed and in-depth exploration of Argentina's past, through history, politics, architecture and art, while giving us a very welcomed insight into the everyday's lives of the porteños. We also covered the current situation and got tons of recommendations. More than general information, the tour is packed with small details that helped us to understand Buenos Aires better. Rodrigo also made sure we would stay in places without too much sun and we had a short break during the tour. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

“The best City Tour of Buenos Aires ”

The tour was very informational, if you want to learn about Argentina’s history, this is it! Rodrigo is very passionate about what he does, he is very welcoming, even after the tour he suggested amazing places to eat, get coffee! And both his suggestions stood upto the hype he created. Would suggest this tour if you would like to learn about the country you are visiting.
