Things to do Belgrano: Parks, Upper Class, Embassies and Chinatown

We will start at Avenida de Los Incas and the embassy area. This avenue is unique for its stone streets and sculptures, as well as for having consular houses of Middle Eastern countries and English mansions. We will talk about the Argentine upper class and its influence on history and culture. We will walk towards the Mitre train tracks in the Belgrano R (Residencial) area. We will drink yerba mate in a quiet, tree-lined square. We will cross Avenida Cabildo and its chaos. We will go down to Avenida Juramento and explore the historic center of Belgrano, its square, its cathedral, and the Larreta Museum (Spanish Art). We will make a quick visit to the museum and then walk towards Chinatown, where we will have coffee while learning about the history of Asian immigration in Argentina. We end the tour at Parque Barrancas de Belgrano.
