Dresden Free Walking Tour

Our Free Dresden Tour takes you on a journey through the history of “Florence on the Elbe” as it is often referred to. The city´s old town was once considered to be the pearl of Europe´s Baroque. However, after the World War II bombing, the fall of the wall and the presence of communism, complete reconstruction works of the city of Dresden took place which completely changed the appearance of its streets.

Alongside our Spanish speaking guide, enjoy a pleasant stroll around the heart of the city and discover the city as well as the royal residence of the Kings of Saxony or the stories about Augustus the Strong. Our Free Tour goes deep into Germany's reunification and discovers how it changed the city completely; discover some of the most symbolic buildings like Dresden´s Royal Palace, the Catholic Cathedral (Cathedral of the Holy Trinity) or the stunning Baroque Lutheran Church.

Dresden, together with Berlin and Prague, suffered the largest scale of destruction during the Second World War; this guided tour goes deep into all the legends of the XIX century. Marvel at the amazing tiles that decorate Dresden and its porcelain mosaics in the Fürstenzug (Procession of Princes) the largest mural of tiled porcelain. Admire the Bruhl terrace which offers magnificent views over the Elbe river or the colourful wall dedicated to the Procession of the Princes and the Green Vault (Grunes Gewolbe).
