Then continue to Burano, where lace making is the main activity that made it famous. The art of lace making comes from ancient times and Venetian seamstresses have turned it into a true culture. The last stop of your visit will be Torcello, the first center of the Venetian civilization that preserves, as testimony of its glorious past, many monuments and churches such as the Church of Santa Fosca and the Byzantine Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta that contains the wonderful golden mosaics .
