On this tour we will visit the two best-known and most interesting islands near Venice: Murano and Burano. The Island of Murano is known for the manufacture of blown glass and Burano is a town plein of colours!
On the tour we will visit the Canal dei Vetrai, full of shops where the best samples of Murano glass are exhibited and sold. In addition to glass, Murano offers us an important artistic and cultural offer, highlighting the Basilica of Santa Maria and San Donato, a masterpiece of the Italian Romanesque or the Church of San Pedro Mártir, famous for its blown glass lamps. We will also go to a glass factory where, whoever wishes, can see an exhibition by a master glassmaker of how glass is blown. On the island of Burano we will find a small and beautiful fishing village that is characteristic because its inhabitants paint their houses in very bright and bright colors, giving the island a very picturesque appearance. There we will find the Torre de San Martín, with an evident inclination or with the peculiar Casa de Bepi, an interesting and beloved inhabitant of Burano. The streets of Bhutanese are full of shops where merletto, bobbin lace, is made. Gastronomic and cultural recommendations will not be lacking in the tour.
IMPORTANT: Aspects to take into account in the tour: 1. Transportation is not included, it would be necessary to previously purchase the 24-hour vaporetto ticket (€ 20) at any pier or tobacconist. 2. The display of blown glass inside a factory carries a price of € 3, these € 3 will be deducted from the invoice in the event that a piece of glass is acquired within the factory. 3. The route will be as follows: we leave Venice towards Burano and from Burano we will arrive in Murano. The tour ends in Murano.
