Otherwise the tour was good for a first overview of the city. He was not very communicative and I got the feeling he was glad to get it over and done with.

There is no substitute for an educated tour guide whose family has been in the area for generations. I compared what was covered on my Puebla tour with the NY Times article on what you should see in Puebla. The NY Times author missed out on a few wonderful features in Puebla.

“Excellent tour by Angel”
We booked this last minute and Angel was able to accommodate us which we were thankful for.
He was really insightful and gave a great overview of Puebla. He was also just a very friendly and nice person who we really enjoyed talking to. On the tour he recommended plenty of things to do in Puebla, as well as giving out food recommendations of must try local dishes.

Buenas tardes no pude asistir a ninguno de mis tours porq no me dejaron entrar en México, yo misma reserve los tours. Busque los tours por CDMX y me salió este y el de Mérida lo cual me explicaron q no estaban dentro de la ciudad, lo cual quedé confundida porque si efectivamente son muy lejanos pero cuando se buscan tours en el país tienen q especificar cuales son en la ciudad y cuales no. Para que los turistas como yo en este caso si quería pasar varios días en la ciudad por no especificar no pudimos asistir. Espero que mejoren la página y sus especificaciones.

El walking tour con Ángel estuvo excelente! Por problemas de tráfico llegamos unos 15 minutos tarde y Ángel no tuvo ningún problema en esperarnos.
El tour nos llevó a los lugares más icónicos del centro y lo mejor de todo fue haberlo tomado en la tarde. Puebla de noche con todas sus luces es espectacular.

“Well organised introduction to Puebla”
Went for the 5pm tour, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Angel was knowledgeable and informative, and also thoughtful enough to reorganise certain parts of the tour when needed so that we missed nothing (due to strict closing times of some attractions). He was also always very willing to answer all our questions, which was great! It was a good introduction to the town of Puebla for sure, and I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to do a free walking tour in the city.
