“Excellent tour!”
As a street art lover, i was excited to join this tour. It did not dissapoint, Carlos was the super-guide! We actually had a private tour as it was only our group of 3. Carlos is very passionate about street art and he told us a lot if useful info, funny details, very good intel overall. The tour took actually 2,5hours and i think he could talk for another few more hours ????!! If you are into murals, i totally recommend this tour! Gracias Carlos!!

“All you need to know ”
Carlos was a wonderful gide! Not only had a lot of information about the artists and the techniques they used in their graffiti art ( he’s a graffiti artist himself and a tattoo artist) but as well knew art history and educated us, the participants, about the meaning and symbolism of the street art.
I absolutely loved it and highly recommend a tour with Carlos! ✨

I recently went on an art tour, and it was an incredible experience! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, providing deep insights into the amazing murals we saw. He explained the meaning, history, and symbolism behind each piece, which made everything much more engaging.
What made the tour even more special was that he knew some of the artists personally. We even visited a workshop and got to see of the artists’ showpieces
firsthand-it was fascinating to see the creative process up close.
Overall, the tour was highly informative, enjoyable, and full of artistic inspiration. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in art and culture.

“In-depth mural tour. Jalatlaco”
This tour was engaging from beginning to end. The meeting point at Once in Oaxaca is an excellent choice; it’s a delightful little art café. Our guide Julio, is clearly very knowledgeable about the Oaxaca art scene. Really enjoyed his explanations of history and symbolism in the murals he took us to see. Highly recommended.

“Solid Tour in a great neighborhood. ”
We really enjoyed our guide Maria. The tour was about 90 minutes, perhaps because we were only 2 and we moved fast. there was not as much street art as I had hoped, but I did enjoy what I saw. I would go again.

Wow I can’t say enough good things about our walking tour with Carlos. My husband and myself were the only people on this tour today with Carlos. It was amazing. He showed us so many artists wall murals and explained how each came about and what they represent. We also stopped in at galleries and an introduced us to an artist. It was the best experience. The tour with Carlos was fantastic. His depth of knowledge, being an artist himself, was broad and wide. The walk covered a good variety of styles and content, and towards the end we got to see a famous studio in process. I would definitely do this again, and more importantly, look for more tours guided by Carlos.

Elece was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and had a great connection with the artwork of Jalatlaco. He showed us around the neighbourhood and had stories and information for all of the murals. He knows many of the artists and took us to some of their workshops.
