“Authentic food tour, great food and great guide”

Had a great time going around eating like a local, the food options were all very unique and were the best tacos I've ever had, and also was very authentic in a neighbor that only locals will know about. I took the tour with Alex and had a great time. He is really passionate about the tour and made sure we have a nice place to sit and all the extras we needed. He shared a lot about the history of Mexican food and interesting background stories of the tacos and places we tried. It was a really good selection of different tacos so you get an authentic and well-rounded intro into this dish!

“Tacos, culture, and history”

Took the tour with Adi, who is very knowledgeable and has a friendly personality. As a solo traveller, for me it's both about the social aspect, as well as getting some local knowledge that you're missing as a foreigner. Besides, one needs to eat anyway, so this combined the useful with the pleasant. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and a good few hours to spend. Would recommend

“Great guide & good food”

It's a new tour, so there were just 2 of us on it. The guide was very informative and accommodating. It's outside of the city centre, so it wasn't crowded, which also made it nice. I recommend joining the tour if you want to to sample and understand tacos and food culture better. It was just enough food to leave you satisfied, without overdoing it. Just nice.

my guide Diana was wonderful. I was the only one to show up so I actually had a private tour. She was so knowledgeable regarding not only the culinary aspects of our tour, but the history of the our neighborhood and the city itself. I thoroughly enjoyed it and tried a few things that I have never eaten before, and they were delicious! Would highly recommend this to newcomers who are unfamiliar with Local Street cuisine

“THE secret taco tour through hidden neighborhoods ”

This is a tour you do not want to miss! Have you been to every taco place in Roma and Condesa? Are you tired of eating tacos with other expats from New York? Do you want to go to a secret michelin-star-contender taco stand that nobody knows about yet? This tour is a great way to learn about the history of Mexico, the importance of corn and chiles to the Mexican diet, the introduction of beef and pork over the years and a never-ending debate about flour and corn tortillas. Colonia Navarte is stunning to walk through with it's 1940s architecture. This tour even takes you to a taco shop hidden inside an auto body shop (where they have amazing tortas) and a great miniature car collection. The only downside is being too full by the last stop -- and not being able to enjoy the last (and best) tacos. We will have to do it again :)
