Oskar is a wonderful tour guide! Oscar knows all about Mexico City, past & present and generously shared this information with us. We enjoyed exploring a part of Mexico City that we would not have otherwise seen. By using the Cable Bus, we were able to get a view of the expansiveness of Mexico City from above. “Accommodating guide, great views from cable car”
We ended up going on a slightly different route by our choice since the four of us were the only people in the group that day. Oscar was very accommodating to our interests, and at the end of the tour helped us with directions to our next activity. The commentary he provided was interesting and relevant.

Oskar holte uns pünktlich am vereinbarten Treffpunkt ab und begleitete uns mit vielen Informationen bei der Metro und Cable Car Fahrt. “Get off the beaten track”
We enjoyed this unique four hour tour of 10 kilometers cable car ride and we highly recommend it especially with Oskar . We took the subway with him to the cable car, he helped us understanding the best ways to use the subway safely. We felt safe throughout the tour. Oskar is very open and communicates very well in English. He has provided us with many facts about the region, its development, its community and also about the history of CDMX. He was very generous with his knowledge. This tour is really worth it especially thanks to Oskar.

“The real Mexico City”

“Totally worth it”
The tour was really nice. Oscar speaks very well in English. The cable car was awsome. We spent easily 3-4 hours with him. We even stopped at the markek in the neighborhood. I felt completely safe in the area, I’ve never felt in danger during the guide tour. Thank you Oscar !

“An excellent day spent seeing and learning about local neighborh”
I spent half a day with Oskar riding the cable car, learning about the history of mexico and different neighborhoods along the cable car parh. Oskar is very knowledgeable, laid back and quite giving with his information and wants to learn/hear about you. I WOULD HIGHLY recommend taking the tour and asking for Oskar

Everyone visiting Mexico City should take this tour to see local markets, local foods and learn more about the city from a History major. “Great tour”
Oskar is a very friendly person. We started out by taking the metro to the end of the line and then, within the same station transferred to the telelferique. Oskar is from a nearby neighborhood and provided many interesting facts. On the return trip we visited a covered market and a street market near one of the teleferique stations. The views from on top of the hills were great. I would recommend Oscar and this tour.

“Fascinating Cable Bus Tour”
Oskar is a well organized, informative tour guide with wide ranging knowledge of culture in Mexico and beyond. The group I was part of had a fascinating conversation on social mobility issues in our countries. Oskar told us so much about the history & neighborhoods of CDMX and was curious about social justice issues where we live. “Unmissable! Totally unique. ”
Having lived in CDMX for 4 years, we thought we’d seen it all - not so. This is a unique perspective of the city from a view you’d only normally get from a plane! Oscar was a bright, knowledgeable and engaging guide: a History PhD student, the conversation flowed on a vest range of subjects which gave us insights into all aspects of Mexican life, not just the features of the tour. Of course, riding the Cablebus itself is utterly stunning, but doing it with someone who is from the area and knows and loves it as his own was exceptional. Highly recommend!

“Wonderful trip above Mexico City”
We had a wonderful time with Oscar. He kept us well informed bedore we took off, texting us he was on his way and what he was wearing so we could recogize him. He is a History Student and told us so many interesting things avout his city and the part we travelled to.

“Great cable car ride”
Oskar was wonderful. We basically got a private tour for the six of us. Mexico City traffic was brutal and we were delayed 30 minutes to meet Oskar. But we were in constant communication and he patiently waited for us. Oskar gave us a history behind the cable cars as well as Mexico City itself.
He does other tours as well and I’d highly recommend.

“Good for knowing a less touristic part of CDMX ”
The tour was worth it!! I had a very good and relaxed time, knowing interesting facts and way of living, and having great views from the air of the Iztapalapa town hall and volcanoes, at the eastern part of CDMX. It was very comfortable to go around with Oskar and don´t have to think about the transfers at the cable car stations, also to have a very nice and knowledgeable conversation. “It's so fun, just like friends hanging out!”
It was so much fun!! Oskar is very knowledgable about the area and answered all our questions. We were group of 5 including Oskar, and we had a great time sharing cultures, getting ice cream and fig-coconut bread (from a bakery in local market that has 10pesos for 2 small scoops of ice cream!!) We needed to get out from the cable car to transfer at some stations, it was not a complicated process but there was no signs or notifications, and I would 100% get lost without Oskar guiding us. Get your metro card in advance so you can get started at the metro station right away. The card is beautiful so it will be a great souvenir!

“Exceptional Guide and tour”
Our guide, Oskar, was absolutely incredible. His passion and pride for his local area was amazing. Seeing a different part of the city via the longest cable car in the world was special. We enjoyed the local museum visit, seeing the street art from above, local market and Oskar incredible knowledge.
If you have a few hours spare this is a must tour in a unique city location.

“Great alternative tour of the non touristy area”
This tour gives you a view of the different side of the city with the problems faced by residents in the suburbs. The areas explored are safer with a local and Oskar ran a great informative tour giving history of the area and city in general. Highly recommended and views from the cable car let you see the city from above!
