Chapultepec Free Walking Tour

We will meet at the indicated time in front of the Cinepolis Diana. From there, we will walk a few meters until we reach Chapultepec Forest. Are you ready to visit one of the green lungs of Mexico City?

We will walk through this oasis investigating the tree species of this enclave such as cedars, poplars, palm trees or sycamores. You will fall in love!

Next, we will visit a pool with traces of the 16th century and one of the healing pools where it is believed that Moctezuma bathed. We will also stop in front of the cave guarded by an ancient ahuehuete tree called El Sargento. We have reached the entrance to the underworld! Or at least that's what the Nahuatl legends say.

We will continue to Chapultepec Castle, a neoclassical and baroque palace that served as a resting place for the viceroys of New Spain. Nearby is the Altar de la Patria, dedicated to the Mexican fighters who died in the US intervention in Mexico between 1846 and 1848.

After two hours and 15 minutes of travel, we will end the experience next to Lake Chapultepec.
