we learned a lot about the meaning behind the colorful altars filled with too many offerings,luckly there was a massive exposition of them in the big plaza and Manuel explained every symbolic detail. it was nice to see how people in Yucatan celebrate the day of the death. Manuel told us about this tradition full of symbolism, both for ancient cultures and for people today.

Manuel definitely loves what he does. Even though we were the only reservation for the day he didn't cancel the tour and spent two hours in the hot weather walking us around the historical part of Merida. He took in consideration to walk us in the shady side of streets or around reconstruction sites without shortening or extending the assigned tour time. Manuel was friendly . He knew details about the sites and answered our questions. He gave us good recommendations about local restaurants and other places of interest.

“Very cool Freewalking Tour in Merida!!!”
We met Manuel right at the time he told us. He is a very kind and Funny Tourguide who speaks English very well and as a suprise also a bit German. He showed us interesting facts and places of Merida, we wouldn’t have experienced without him. We would recommend him as a tour guide and are grateful for meeting him.

ouir guide was Manuel and we really enjoyed this tour 100%.He's knowleadgeble and he answered all our questions
we visited many insights in Merida's historic center than in others tours you're not able to,like the local market and during the tour Manuel recommended us restaurants,bars and others markets where to eat

“Amazing tour”
We had a great time on this tour, Manuel told us interesting facts and stories about merida and the Mayas,, in the end visited the local market, a beautiful and colorful place to get some things and fruits and vegetables depends on the season,and he also give us a lot of recommendations for cheap food,restaurants and cantinas(bars).

“Lovely walk”
This tour tour was amazing, Manuel is entertaining, we visited not only the main squares but also the big market and we know the yucatecos daily life, it was great,plus Manuel told us stories about Merida and Mayan culture in the end he provided us with many recommendations for food,drinks even fruits and vegetables
