“Focus on factual & city content”
Easily the worst walking tour I’ve been on. In 2 hours we only saw 4 landmarks and barely walked. Instead we were lectured by the guide with way too much information that we cannot possibly retain. Even for me as a gay feminist, the guide seemed to focus SOLELEY on this aspect of Leipzig history whereas we all signed up for a tour of landmarks and the old city. Instead we got a gender studies lecture for 2 hours. If that is what the tour will be like then it should be appropriately named so that people who want to hear this side of history can enjoy it, but that is not what I signed up for. My advice, focus on factual history with minimal bias from either right or left views.

Florian hat und so viel über Leipzig erzählen können, Wahnsinn. Er ist ein sehr sympathischer Stadtführer und die Zeit ist wie im Fluge vergangen. Mit viel Charme und auch Humor wurde diese Tour zum absoluten Vergnügen. Wenn ihr Urlaub in Leipzig macht, nehmt euch auf jeden Fall die Zeit für diese Tour, es lohnt sich.

“Hervorragende Führung mit Florian”
Wir hatte eine 2,5 h - Führung mit Florian und die Zeit verging wie im Fluge. Florian konnte nicht nur in Geschichte, Entwicklung und Gebäude anschaulich erläutern, sondern auch in den polititschen Kontext einordnen. Darüber hinaus gab es zahlreichen praktische Tipps zu Kneipen, verschiedene Millieus und Auslugsziele. Von uns eine volle Empfehlung!

“Just amazing, you'd be missing out if you didn't book”
I absolutely fell in love with Leipzig and I'm sure that the tour was a BIG reason. I only had a few hours in Leipzig and booked the tour to make the best use of my time. I did run around the square a bit searching for the group and the guide- he was a little late as he got stuck with something (can't recall). I did the tour in English. There were about 7-10 people. The stops were so interesting, and the route was really great. Matej shared so much interesting and valuable information. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Even if you are staying for a longer period, this is a great start with recommendations for food and shopping that you can explore later.

Tour was really great. Not too much information (what is good), but enough and really structured and memorable pointing out the most important about Leipzig and it's people, especially the famous ones. The guide Matej (Slovenian by origin) was really friendly, knowledgeable with good and understandable English. He even played on speaker some compositions by Bach when Matej talked about him. It reminded music lessons in primary school, even if I don't remember names of compositions, they were familiar by sound. Thank you Matej, you made me to like Leipzig even more and maybe to come back some day for longer visit.

“Sehr kompetenter und sympathischer Guide!”
Unser Guide Johannes war mit sehr viel Sachkenntnis und Herzblut bei der Sache und hatte als Einheimischer den grossen Vorteil, dass er über Leipzig aus eigenem Erleben und daher sehr authentisch informieren konnte. Das Themenspektrum war sehr breit, Geschichte, Wirtschaftsgeschichte, Kulturelles und auch Anekdotischen, es war immer ein Vergnügen, ihm zuzuhören. Seine rhetorischen Fähigkeiten haben das Vergnügen noch vergrössert! Fazit: ein wirklich bereichender Stadtrungang! Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: es wurden viele Tipps für eigene Aktivitäten gegeben, die man sich aber nicht alle merken kann. Ein gutes altes Blatt Papier mit einer schriftlichen Auflistung der der Tipps wäre sehr hilfreich!

Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe und haben die Tour bei schönstem Wetter genossen. Unser Tourguide Johannes hat uns Leipzig auf spannende, kurzweilige Art näher gebracht (Der geborene Guide!). Dabei hat er auch auf unsre Bedürfnisse Rücksicht genommen - wir standen meist im Schatten und es gab immer wieder Möglichkeiten zum Hinsetzen. Durch seine Erklärungen haben wir nicht nur viele stadtgeschichtliche Infos bekommen, sondern auch einen Einblick in das Leben der Leipziger. Absolut empfehlenswert!

“Einfach wow!”
Wir hatten eien Tour für Leipzig gebucht und sind total begeistert von unserem Guide. Man merkt wie professionell das ganze abgelaufen ist. Ich kann es wirklich nur jedem empfehlen, der in Leipzig ist! Man erhält tolle Tipps, die man wahrscheinlich noch nicht auf dem Schirm hatte. Also am besten am Anfang des Urlaubs die Tour buchen :)

“Tolle Stadtführung”
Wir waren fast drei Stunden unterwegs. Es war so interessant, so unterhaltsam…. Auf der ganzen Tour hatten wir keinen „Durchhänger“ wo wir gedacht hätten: okay, lass gut sein für heute.
Nein, die Tour ist eine echte Empfehlung.

“Excellent Tour - Would Recommend”
I booked onto this tour as I was spending the day in Leipzig and had tried a few free walking tours previous and had enjoyed them.
So far this is the best walking tour I have experienced. Matej was an excellent guide and the content was clearly explained and flowed together nicely to make it an informative but relaxed tour.

“Get your facts right”
Matej was a great guide. However, he should check his facts. On his recommendations I went to the St Thomas church for the 3pm mass an choir singing. Only to be informed that it is postponed during the holiday period. So, a regular update would not go amiss and save visitors from unnecessary trips.
