Join a mindful hike in Tepoztlán’s stunning Amatlán de Quetzalcóatl. Walk to the sacred Dos Piedras, discover ancient cave paintings, and connect with nature through meditation and an offering. A peaceful journey into history and spirituality awaits!
Tepoztlán is located 75 km south of Mexico City, in the state of Morelos. This magical town is surrounded by unique mountains filled with legends and myths, where it is said that UFOs visit.
The plan is to arrive and head to the beautiful village of Amatlán de Quetzalcóatl (Quetzalcóatl is considered an Aztec god, the feathered serpent who could fly). It is said that this god was born in Amatlán.
Upon arrival, we will begin a conscious-meditative walk, learning about biodiversity and conservation. We are part of the NGO Conexión Sustentable, which promotes environmental and sustainable projects, we love nature and enjoy sharing this beautiful region.
The hike takes about 50 minutes, following a river path to the sacred site of "Dos Piedras." There, we will hold an offering and a meditation-connection session. After returning to the village, we will enjoy a traditional and nutritious meal at Temachtiani, an ecotourism and community project with a pool to refresh.
This is a basic-level hike. Before leaving, there will be free time to visit downtown Tepoztlán, explore local crafts, buy souvenirs, and enjoy a leisurely walk.
