first of all i booked for 1 person and paid €33 although i was put in a group of 8 people (who all knew each other). this is just something that people should be made aware of. it wasn’t an issue but i paid a premium price and i felt like i tagged along in this big group. we were delayed because some people in that group were late, the meeting time was pushed to a later time, the itinerary changed and the meeting point moved. for me those were not major problems, i tried to be as flexible. although the guide was informative, i asked some questions and she would tell me she would explain later. i would ask again and she would seem a bit annoyed that i had asked maybe a stupid question. i think similar themes happened with other members of the group when they asked her to talk about the history of uzbekistan and she said later when we go to those places. even if she will talk about it later i think it’s good to provide an overview as people are interested to know. maybe i had expectations of a more enthusiastic guide but in the end she was informative (when she answered some questions and explained some stuff). i would recommend it but i wouldn’t pay €33 for it (whilst the others paid less as they were in a group. but i tagged along in that group and adjusted to them so i feel like i should have paid less).
