It’s very cool to have a small tour group. The tour was well organized (prepared a brief intro to the overall history of Taiwan, which is especially informative to foreign tourists). The tour guides were patient and knowledgeable to answer any questions. Most of them came from Taichung. They also made some good recommendations about where to go and where to eat.
While visiting Taichung, we had walked by Taichung train station a lot. Without having the tour, we wouldn’t have known a lot of the fun history of the three-generation train station. Also, our tour guides took us walking through the green river area where the famous ice cream store Miyahara is located. It’s interesting to know more about what happened before and how it impacts the area today.
