Qué hacer en Free Walking Tour A través de Penonomé

Our starting point is at Plaza Penonomé Town Center, where the Xtra Supermarket is located, famous for its affordable prices. We proceed along Penonomé's central road until we reach Parque 8 de Diciembre, named after Mother's Day, celebrated in the country (there is a monument honoring Penonomé mothers). Nearby, there are many points of interest, such as the monument to General Victoriano Lorenzo, who was once a close friend of the national hero Belisario Porras (who served as president of the republic three times) and a pioneer in the struggles for a free and sovereign homeland during our time as part of Gran Colombia, for which he was executed. We also have the San Juan Bautista Cathedral, the Geographic Center of the Republic of Panama, and the Museum of Penonomé's History. Continuing our journey, we arrive at Balneario Las Mendozas, known for being the only place in the country where aquatic parades are held during carnival times. Lastly, but certainly not least, we reach the shopping area known as "Boulevard Penonomé," where there is a wide variety of places to buy souvenirs, clothes, food, and more. Optionally, we have the opportunity to shop for good prices.
