Historic Center Free Walking Tour of Moscow

The free tour Moscow Essential in Spain. During the tour, we will narrate the events that marked the birth of the city, up to the great historical events today.

The route begins in front of one of the oldest and most prestigious hotels, The National Hotel, where the leader of the Lenin revolution stayed. We will know the State Duma of Russia we will talk about the building that houses the legislative power of present-day Russia. The historic Moskva Hotel, now Four Seasons Moscow, this impressive construction, now remodelled, housed the historic Moscow Hotel, ordered by Stalin to house politicians who travelled to the capital.

We will continue through the Manezh Square with the statue of Marshal Gueorgui Zhúkov is located as a prelude to Red Square. In it is one of the great heroes of the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War. Around the Museum of the Patriotic War of 1812 and the State Museum of History, these two museums of an impressive construction reveal a part of the history and architecture of the country. At Kilometer 0 of Moscow, these plates placed on the ground mark the origin of all the roads that connect Russia. We will enter the Red Square through the Doors of the Resurrection and Chapel of the Virgin of Iver

We will visit the Kazan Cathedral in the Kitay Gorod neighbourhood, located in one of the oldest neighbourhoods of the city in honour of a military victory that changed the country's dynastic trajectory. We will visit the luxurious and historic GUM warehouses where the Soviet bureaucracy carried out your purchases. We will contemplate the exteriors of Saint Basil's Cathedral, a universal symbol of Russia. And we will see the exteriors of Lenin's mausoleum and tombs of great Soviet leaders.

We will visit the surroundings of the Kremlin fortress, the Alexander Gardens and the tomb of the unknown soldier and one of the most important statues of the first Russia as a nation, that of the prince of Kiev Rus Vladimir the Great and the statue of Peter the Great over the Moscow river.
