Things to do Edzná Mayan Ruins - Traveling by Collective

Discover the Puuc Route archaeological site of Edzna. This ancient city was just discovered in the 1920s. With its very particular style of architecture, Edzná is the best example of a Mayan empire that grew thanks to fluvial communications with the rest of the Yucatan Peninsula and even the far-away society of the Aztecs. We will board the "colectivo" next to the Pedro Sáinz de Baranda Market, which will take a 55-minute ride to the site entrance. Edzná is better off having two hours to spare while enjoying the views and the stories behind each area. At the end, we will return to the highway to catch the colectivo back to Campeche. This may take some minutes as we have to wait for the ongoing collective in and out of San Francisco de Campeche's daily routes. This experience ends in the market at the starting point! **IMPORTANT** Please consider the following - This tour is marked as FREE, but please consider a minimum tip of MXN 700 for your tour guide (you can split this with your traveler partner or with someone else interested). - Independently, consider the following fees: MXN 100 colectivo (round) + MXN 95 ruins entrance fee. - Colectivos may not have an exact timetable
