Akumal in the Mayan language means place of turtles and this is the only place in the Riviera Maya where we can see sea turtles in their natural habitat with not being feeding them like other places they do to keep them close to the visitors. Our Tour will start riding our bikes from Akumal town to Akumal Beach where we will explain to you the rules to follow and get you ready with our snorkel gear. Soonest we get ready we will walk into the water to try our gear and make sure everything is good to go. We will start swimming in the turtle's circuit to look for these amazing animals, soon we see some we will stop for you can enjoy seeing them and take photos if you have a waterproof camera, we also have a good chance to see different kinds of sea life as stingrays, pufferfish or squids. After finishing the turtle's snorkel, we will get back to our bikes to ride for about 15 minutes to go to our second snorkel place, the natural aquarium where we will snorkel with different types of colorful and tropical fish as sergeant major, blue tangs, butterfly, parrots, doctor fish, needlefish, baby barracudas and more. We will stop in 2 little places with nice ocean views for photos.
