Marrakech to Zagora Desert: 2 Day Adventure

Get ready for a two-day adventure from Marrakech to Zagora and back! On Day One, you'll immerse yourself in centuries of history at the Unesco World Heritage site Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Then traverse across Draa Valley dotted with countless ksar (fortified tribal villages) and kasbahs – don't forget your camera! End the day watching an unforgettable sunset on camelback before feasting on dinner under starry skies in Zagora dunes. Wake up early for awe inspiring sunrise followed by breakfast, then take another ride as you return through Ouarzazate past captivating Atlas Mountains towards home sweet Marrakech. An unforgettable experience awaits - buckle up!! 

Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi N'Tichka - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Draa Valley - Zagora (approximately 6 hours driving)

Day 2: Zagora - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate - Tizi N'Tichka - Marrakech (approximately 6 hours driving)

Accommodations: Caravane Du Sud Authentic Tizi Camp or similar (Standard) Caravane du Sud Luxury Camp or similar (Luxury) 

The difference between the standard and luxury is that in the standard camp the toilets and showers are in a separate shared tent while they are ensuite in the luxury camp. THIS BOOKING IS FOR STANDARD ACCOMMODATIONS, please contact us to upgrade to Luxury.

Important Information:

Pick up times for this Shared Tour are between 7h-8h in Marrakech. Return time is between 17h-19h in Marrakech.

This is a small group Shared Tour with up to 18 people traveling in a mini-bus. Total number of travelers will depend on bookings for that day. We also offer this as a private tour for those looking for more flexibility and to travel with just your group.

We are able to accommodate one roller bag and one small bag per person. When traveling in the desert we will store your luggage at a secure location in the vehicle. We suggest that you bring a smaller duffel bag or backpack to bring with you to the camp with your essential items for the stay.

We provide drivers and guides in English, Spanish and French. 

Meals included are Dinner and Breakfast at the camp in Zagora

The Guide in Ait Ben Haddou is not included, but you can join a group tour on your own for around €2 per person.
