Romantic Faro: Self-Guided Exploration Game

This outdoor exploration game takes you through the heart of Faro's old town, from Praça da Liberdade to the waterfront docks. You'll follow André Carvalho, a lighthouse keeper whose ordinary days are turned upside down when his boat keeps coming untied and a mysterious figure begins haunting his dreams. The route passes through 10 stops including the Regional Museum of Algarve, the medieval Arco do Repouso, the Municipal Museum of Faro, Santa Maria Cathedral, Porta Nova, Arco da Vila, and the Doca de Faro marina. At each stop, you solve a puzzle tied to the story: spotting details in real facades, decoding inscriptions on monuments, and piecing together clues about a mermaid named Sereia. Along the way you'll pass through the old city walls, quiet cobblestone lanes, and the open waterfront where the Ria Formosa begins.
