We really enjoyed our two hour walking tour of Faro with Andre as the guide. The time passed quickly and we found out lots of interesting facts about Faro and Portugal’s history. Andre also gave the group recommendations for bars and restaurants to visit during our stay too

It was my first time taking part in a free city tour and I was thrilled. Nice guide who clearly loves his city. The tour could have lasted a little longer. One small point of criticism - I would have hoped for a little more insider tips. I will definitely repeat a tour like this in another city at the next opportunity.

“Faro Walking Tour was DELIGHTFUL”
We had a small group of 8 people, each couple from a different country. It was a beautiful morning, and Carlos was an excellent guide.
Two couples were concerned about the paid parking time running out and exited before the final point on the tour. Perhaps this can be avoided; I don't know.

“Bruno, the best!”
As first time visitors to faro this tour was a wonderful introduction to the city. Bruno our guide immediately put our group of six at ease and filled the next two hours with interesting facts and colourful stories about Faro’s origin and development. His enthusiasm was infectious and quickly had the group contributing interesting questions and stories of their own.
The tour was easy to access online and its use of local guides makes for a more informal and intimate way to experience the city.
Highly recommended and if Bruno is your guide you’ll be highly rewarded!

As he stood under the statue of the king of Faro, who was holding an item in his right outstretched arm I noticed Bruno struck the same pose with his red umbrella …making him the Prince of Faro.

“Fun and interest evoking”
Our guide knows a lot about sites and history. His talk was concise and he showed us pictures too where we could not get inside of the places. It was a Walking tour but not that tired because we stopped a lot and for long to hear his talk. If you do not have time to plan or read about places, this tour will be of great help to enjoy looking around the old city.

A brilliant all-encompassing walk. So much was crammed into the two hours that we felt a lttle like sardines. But so much was learned about Faro. If you are visiting for a day, this tour is all you need. If you are visiting for longer take this tour and you'll know your way around and save so much time revisiting the parts that interest you. André provided an excellent overview of Faro. He was organized and engaging with his stories and chosen stops. We enjoyed his enthusiasm and restaurant recommendations. I suggest, however there could have been a limit to the group number as many did not register and we ended up with as many as 30 walkers in the group.
