Things to do Just Landed! Welcome to Budapest Free Tour
The tour is a great way to start your stay in Budapest! As a local, it is my privilege to take you out for your first walking tour and give you recommendations (the best eat-and-drink places) for the rest of your stay. We will visit the main attractions (outside) such as: - Basilica - Parliament - Liberty Square - Main monuments - Shoes on the Danube - A bit of Buda side and its history I cover the most important sights through stories and fun facts, and I also go off the beaten track to discover some hidden gems! There will be some quiz questions, so if you have the right answers, you will not walk away with empty hands! :) Great way to discover the city in 2 hours' time and meet new people from all around the world. Looking forward to meeting you :-)

“The best way to start your trip in Budapest”
It’s always going to be a great experience when you guide has a genuine love of their city and it is clear to see Zsanett’s love of Budapest.
I did the tour having arrived in Budapest only a few hours beforehand and it gave me a great introduction to both the layout of the city and it’s history.
The tour itself doesn’t cover a huge area and only covers the Pest side of the city but there is more than enough to see in the two hours. Zsanett has a great knowledge of the city’s history as well as some great fun facts and thinks you would never notice unless pointed out to you. She also allows plenty of time for you to take photo’s and just to wander around and take in the atmosphere. It’s a great tour if to take if you are looking for an introduction to the city.

“Fabulous!”
This tour was excellent! We had a small group - less than 10 of us and our guide, Zsanell was wonderful. She spoke so clearly, with warmth and humour, sharing her love of Budapest with us. Her knowledge was excellent and she had such a lovely way of explaining things. The pace was just right and we saw so much and learned so much. We were given a great over view of the city and time allowed for taking photos, asking questions. We travel frequently and often pay for city tours, often quite a lot, but found this tour to be far better than many other tours we have taken across the globe. Highly recommend!

I participated in Zsanett's afternoon tour within just a few hours after arriving in Budapest. We were a small group, and she incorporated fun anecdotal stories alongside the history to make it enjoyable and engaging. Zsanett clearly knows and loves the city, and her enthusiasm made the time go quickly. She provided a great overview of the city, visiting many of the 'must-see' sights while also sharing helpful suggestions and tips for the rest of our visit. I highly recommend this tour!

Loved this tour!
Our guide, Zsannet, was incredibly sweet and full of fun facts that made the whole experience so much more engaging. It was a super relaxed tour - we had plenty of time to stop at each location, take photos, and really soak it all in while learning a bit about the place.
Zsannet also had loads of great recommendations for the rest of our stay, which was a lovely bonus. I especially appreciated how much detail she shared, and the way she kept things fun with pop culture references and recent events sprinkled in.
I’d honestly recommend this tour to anyone looking to ease into their trip by getting to know Pest a little better in a fun, low-key way!

Santa was a fantastic guide - extremely knowledgeable, had wonderful anecdotes about the history of the city and country, and was well-versed in the history of the region. She was also very funny and did an amazing job with our group, ranging in age from kids to seniors. She also shared her own tips for restaurants and things to do. I’d absolutely recommend her!!!

This tour reveals a past trying to remain hidden, surprising details about monuments, quirky facts and quizzes on trivia, sometimes thought provoking, sometimes humorous. Zsanett imparts her knowledge of the city in which she grew up. A bonus is the list of personal recommendations she gives on museums, spas, restaurants, bars and places where there is live music. I highly recommend this walking tour.

“Freezing but fun!”
