Budapest Christmas Markets Tour

Christmas in Budapest is, undoubtedly, a dream time for its neighbors and visitors. We will start at Erzsébet tér, where we will learn about the origins of the Advent Wreath, what St. Nicholas means to Hungarians and how they celebrate Christmas Eve. During our tour we will have the pleasure of tasting the traditional crispy kürtőskalác cake. We will visit the Deák Square and its wonderful Christmas market, where you can taste the most typical dishes of the country at this time, and the market of Vörösmarty Square, the most impressive of the whole city, rises majestically. We will contemplate Vigadó Square, where we will know the meaning of New Year's Eve for the Hungarians. We will walk to József Nádor Square and the famous Hungarikum, where we can find the most characteristic products of the country. Finally, St. Stephen's Square awaits us, where one of the best markets in Europe is installed, and it's time to finish our tour at the Gresham Palace to discover the famous tradition of szaloncukor.
