Later, walk towards Deák Square which hosts another wonderful Christmas market where you will be able to sample some of the most traditional dishes of the country at this time or the popular mulled wine. The best is yet to come. For the grand finale, wander around the city´s market par excellence and the biggest of them all. It stretches over Vorosmarty Square and only the best artisans display their finest specialties here The square features an enormous Christmas tree as well as hosting several events which fill the square with excitement.  Contemplate Vigado Square and discover what New Year’s Eve means to Hungarians and how they make New Year´s such a special day. Walk towards József Nádor Square and the famous Hungarikum where we will be able to purchase some gifts.  To end the tour, visit St. Stephen’s Square, elegantly decorated for the occasion by an enormous Christmas tree before we bid farewell at Gresham Palace where our guide will reveal the popular tradition of szaloncukor.
