Nuestro guía fue Luis y nos encantó en tour. Nos dio mucha información útil sobre restaurantes, sitios imprescindibles que visitar, transporte etc. La visita fue muy amena, nos contó un resumen de la historia de Budapest además de la propia historia de los puntos de interés, lo cual, en nuestra opinión, hace la experiencia mucho más interesante. También utilizó fotografías de personajes y lugares importantes a los que hacía referencia todo el tiempo para no perder el hilo de la historia.

“An ok introduction to the Pest part of the city and it's history”
Our tour guide, Blanca, was energetic but when she spoke, we could hardly hear most of it. There were far too many people in the group and her louspeaker was not very loud. ???? Also, when giving a tour, maybe the guides should be aware where their visitors are from. She was glorifying parts of the Hungarian history that from a Croats perspective were very dark times when Hungarians tried to erase out language and our nation. Her saying "unfortunately, we list 2/3 of our teritory and our exit to sea" was a bit hard to swallow. Come on, lady, that wasn't your territory to begin with, acknowledge it. Also, she tried to brush off the role of Hungarians in the WW2. Hold your head up high and just tell it as it was. Also, when Blanca brought us to the Parliament building, I noticed Croatian simbols above the entrance and asked her about it and she got so confused she started mumbling and couldn't utter a sentence. That was a bit weird. What I did like was some of the fluff info we were given like the one about the guerilla miniatures artist. Didn't know about that and made the visit to the Dracula castle/Agricultural museum all the more enjoyable since we found a miniature sculpture there. Also the info about some other places we haven't seen with the guide but showed us the pictures of were interesting. So, yeah, all in all I'd say it was good to take the tour to get your barrings, but the tour group should definitely be a bit smaller and the speaker louder and the guide should have been better prepared for the questions.

Antes que nada, agradecida por la oportunidad, pero siento que debo dejar ciertos puntos que pudieran mejorar.
Fue literalmente una carrera! Entiendo que es mucho el contenido y que hay metas que cumplir, pero en lo particular no alcance a escuchar toda la información porque me fue difícil seguir el ritmo en la marcha, cuando llegaba estaba adelantada la información.
Se entiende lo difícil que es manejar un grupo numerosos de personas. La sugerencia del restaurante tulipán super acertada, la comida muy rica y la atención super buena! Comimos dos platos y 3 cervezas sin alcohol y la cuenta salio al rededor de 46 Euros ( 2 personas) aplicamos un cupo de descuento. Quizás parece algo costoso pero la relación calidad/precio es favorable.

Nos tocó una guía que era nativa de Budapest, se llama Julia (igual no se escribe así…) lo hizo muy muy ameno, nos mostró imágenes de comidas típicas, zonas de interés, nos dio planfletos con un mini vocabulario húngaro-español.
Las explicaciones claras y concisas. 100% recomendable! Incluso los ayudó después del tour a reservar el paseo en barco por el Danubio!!

We did a free walking tour with Blanka. She was wonderful! Very friendly and always willing to answer our questions. The tour had a pleasant pace, and the explanations were clear and engaging. Besides the tour itself about the streets, statues and monuments, Blanka gave us plenty of recommendations and advices! She suggest where to eat, the must-visit places that we should see later, the prices in Budapest, basic hungarian words that we should know, where to exchange our money, where to buy tickets for the attractions, how to choose the best public transport tickets according to our travel plans, etc.
