Welcome to a tour of great historical and cultural value. Come and discover how Hungary got into World War II and its entire process. Do you want to know the evolution of the Jewish people and their culture? How did they experience the Holocaust? It will be the streets and buildings that tell us. Live the story of one of the bloodiest episodes of the 20th century.
Do you know that most of the Jews deported to Auschwitz were Hungarians?
On this tour we will learn about the process of the Holocaust in Hungary.
The space in which this tour takes place is one of the most traditional neighborhoods, Erzsébetváros, also known as the Jewish Quarter.
The main synagogues are concentrated in this neighborhood and with your visit we will take the opportunity to learn to recognize the different branches of Judaism. Second largest Synagogue in the World and its cemetery, tree of life, Zionist Archives Center and different memorials!
Another of the stops that we will make will be before the monument of the "Righteous Among the Nations", those heroes who rowed against the current of hostility against the Jewish People. We will put as protagonist a Spaniard who saved the lives of some 5000 Jews during the war. This is Ángel Sanz-Briz, better known as the Angel of Budapest.
Reference point for street art and partying in Budapest. We will not leave an iota, we will make a complete x-ray of what these streets tell us, which curiously and despite all the horror experienced, today has been rejuvenated, bringing light and color to the visitor. We will find endless restaurants and bars, therefore, we cannot stop talking about Khoser food, although it is the Ruin Bars that set the pulse of the neighborhood.
We will have some more hidden surprises!! We wait for you!
