Join our exciting tour of the Old City! Discover the magic of its narrow streets and relive the past with my historical narration. We'll explore the highlights together. Do not miss it!
Things to do Stockholm Old Town Free Tour
We will meet at Skeppsbron, and there I will point out and tell some facts about places visible on the nearby island of Södermalm. I will also give you other interesting facts about Stockholm in general. Throughout the tour I will show old photos and other pictures that might give a better understanding and improve the experience. The focus, however, will be on the Old Town, and we will walk the narrow and winding streets and try to understand how life was in the old days. I will provide a historical background and show interesting sights. We will see most of the things worth seeing in the Old Town. At the end of the tour, we will leave The Old Town, and I will point out some other interesting buildings nearby. The tour will end at Norrbro, next to the Old Town, and from there you have a good view of Stockholm and the Royal Castle. We will not be a huge group (maximum 15 adults and usually a lot fewer) as I prefer a more personal tour, so there will be time for questions and maybe some chit-chat. Hopefully, we will have a good time, and you will learn a thing or two. I love showing people my hometown, Stockholm, so I hope to see you soon.

“Great tour and amazing guide”
We were a small group of 5 people and had a great time. Goran showed us the whole Gamlan Stan and gave us a historic insight, which was fantastic and nicely detailed. I loved that he had a book of pictures from the past and share some interesting facts, which I wouldn't find out without him. I highly recommend this tour.

Great variety of themes, a lot of small details in the old town I would have probably missed if he wasn’t here, great recommendations of things to see and places to go after the tour, not only in the old town but also in the surrounding area.

“Thorough and passionate”
Göran spent more then two hours telling us the story and the curiosities about the old town, he was very precise and full of informations. He really made the visit enjoyable giving us things to notice and search around. We appreciated a lot all the advises he also gave us on what to do in the city and how to explore more on our own.

det var den enda tour på svenska som jag hittade on a short notice och det var absolut värt det att ta risken! guiden är jättetrevlig, förklarade allt jättebra, från historian till generella fun facts, och hade även bilder av 1900-talet som man kunde jämföra med hur det är idag, jag skulle absolut göra en annan tour med honom om jag hann!
